The people in charge of planning and buying NHS healthcare services for the Canterbury area are due to meet on Wednesday 5 June, 2-5pm at Kings Hall, Herne Bay.

Local people are invited to observe the monthly Governing Body meeting, to find out about decisions being made on NHS healthcare services in the Canterbury, Faversham, Herne Bay, Whitstable and Sandwich areas.

There will be an opportunity for people to ask questions for 10 minutes at the start and a further 10 minutes at the end of the meeting. Anyone who would like to submit questions in advance is encouraged to email Matthew Capper, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Company Secretary: m.capper@nhs.net

Dr Mark Jones, Chair of NHS Canterbury and Coastal CGG, said: “I would urge anyone wanting to find out more about how we make healthcare decisions in the area to come along and put their questions to us.”
