Have you had an experience of cardiology services in east Kent? Can you spare some time to attend a meeting or review documents and feedback virtually? If the answer is yes – we would like to hear from you.

The four clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in east Kent are working with GPs, consultants and heart failure nurses from East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT) and Kent Community Health Trust (KCHT) to try and make improvements to cardiology services.

We have set up a task and finish group to support this work and we are now looking for some local people to join us.

If you are a patient from east Kent (including Canterbury, Herne Bay, Ashford, Whitstable, Faversham, Folkestone, Deal, Dover, Thanet or surrounding areas) with experience of cardiology services at any level, we would welcome your help.

Any input you can provide, whether virtually reviewing documents or coming along to a meeting, would be warmly welcomed.

Our next task and finish group meeting is due to take place on Wednesday 18 June, 6.30 to 8.30pm at a venue in Ashford.

For further information, or to offer your help, please contact Laura Counter, Commissioning Delivery Manager for NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG by calling 01227 791359 or emailing c4.ccg@nhs.net.
