The Canterbury and Coastal Health and Wellbeing Board is hosted by Canterbury City Council.
It meets on a monthly basis to plan how best to meet the health needs of the local population and overcome health inequalities (for example, life expectancy differences for people across the Canterbury and Coastal area).
Members of the public are invited to observe the meetings and are able to submit questions in advance.
The Canterbury and Coastal Health and Wellbeing Board is made up of representatives from NHS Canterbury and Coastal Clinical Commissioning Group, public health, adult social care and children’s services, locally elected representatives and Healthwatch Kent.
