NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG Public Reference Group (PRG) Bulletin

User AvatarPosted by Paul Davey at 07/07/2016 15:35:32

Welcome to the first PRG Bulletin. This bulletin will help you stay up-to-date with all the latest PRG news and other important developments.

The group is inviting members to apply for the role of Deputy Chair. In the meantime, the group will support the Chair to ensure the PRG works effectively.

This is an exciting time to take on the role as a new work plan has been agreed. Over the next 12 months, the PRG will mainly focus on supporting the CCG to gain a better understanding of the views and needs of patients, carers and the public, acting as a catalyst for discussions about local and regional policy and plans.

The PRG will also support Patient Participations Groups in understanding and navigating the development and implication of local healthcare policy and decisions.

At our last meeting, Simon Perks, the Accountable Office for NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG updated members on the East Kent Strategy Board, Primary Care Co-Commissioning and the Forward View Plan.
